The power of Relationship

Generally speaking and already accepted its value and power, relationship, commonly used in different terms "networking or socializing", is more publicly known and used in different ways for different magnitude of purposes.  Some use it to defy something, but some use it quite well to broaden their horizon and view the world magnificently.  Working here in Henkel, Shanghai, with different people from various parts of the world, I learnt a crucial part of self-development, which focuses on socializing. I have never noticed that it is really helpful for us in every single day of our life time, but it does make a tremendous change of how I view the world.

Thanks to Mr. Rithy Meng, whom I used to live with for a week before I could find  a rental shared apartment with his support, I was introduced to some Khmer friends here. I am really motivated to know them and spend my spare time traveling along together. With a true relation we have, we always share what we have, have lunch or dinner together (sometimes at my home and sometimes outside), travel to visit other students in different provinces nearby Shanghai, go shopping at business area, and visit some other nice-to-sight places in Shanghai. We always help each other in every single problem we encounter and try to solve it together.  I found it fruitful and enjoyable.

Fully already worked for four months in Henkel, I know  a lot of people from different countries – Spain, Germany, Portugal, France, Holland, Italy, England, United Sates of America, Japan, India, and so forth – and learn how to adapt myself into different situations, especially how to communicate with them. As part of corporate social responsibility, Henkel decided to put Internship program to let fresh-graduated students take chance to work in its branches.  All interns from some of above mentioned countries always have lunch together, share experiences during that time, interests, and life goals. I would say it is worth to learn from this meaningful experience. It is the best ever.

 Given support from all of them, I learn to improve myself even quicker and faster as we can always share useful and wise ideas.  Once we have some trouble dealing with something, we can also ask for help and opinions. Not only in our working life, but also in our normal life, relationship is quite important, helping us to deal with what we cannot do, enriching us to find out something new and useful, and creating the new world of hope that we all can believe in. With this crucial part of the change I made, I will always keep this in mind and will remember all the time I have been through with people I know.

One of the most important thing in life is to keep a long lasting friendship as it will be your beautiful garden in life. No matter who we are or who we will become, wherever we are at, and whenever we live, life would come up with a memorable contentment from the past time we used to be.
